I tried the "Fit Massage" Rich offers. It begins with a 50 minute workout with the "Kettle Bells" (ask him about this) and is followed by a wonderful massage that includes stretching. PERFECT way to exercise. And even though I haven't exercised in a long time (I'm a wuss) Rich stayed patient and friendly with all my questions. And the day after -- I felt great. This is a wonderful idea to combine this workout with a massage. I am a certified massage therapist in PA -- and I will recommend Rich to everyone I know in NYC.

When I first met Richard, I was having a lot of trouble in my back and shoulders. I was traveling a lot, both domestically and globally, so I was living on planes and in hotels. My first few sessions with him were incredibly therapeutic and really helped me manage between my time in the air and time on the ground. When Richard told me about the Kettlebell training and fit massage he was offering, I was really eager to try it. I'd heard about Kettlebell training from a friend of mine in Europe, and how incredible his results were the sort of results that tool less time with this type of training versus just going to the gym. My first Kettlebell training was really intense. I have had personal trainers in the past, but Rich's technique was really focused and guided. Although we only trained for 50 minutes, I felt like it was longer, because Kettlebell training combines strength training with cardio, you really feel the burn. After my training session, I had one of Rich's Fit massages which was both relaxing and invigorating. He combines soothing deep tissue massage with energizing and restorative strokes. Rich is a highly trained professional. I really appreciate his attitude, focus and intuition, both with his training and his massage technique. I've been a client of Rich's for about a year now, and plan on being a client for a very long time. If you are looking for the best bodywork in New York City, you have to call Rich

Rich pays attention to every last detail. He is totally engaged and provides a total sensory experience with relaxing sounds, aromatherapy, hot stones and strong, professional hands. As a licensed massage therapist and personal trainer, Rich knows exactly how to deal with any problem area. Rich was recommended to me by my partner and neither of us will ever go to anyone else.

Rich is an excellent masseur. He is a healing professional from the moment you walk through the door until the moment you leave. He is very knowledgeable about the body and is able to address problem areas. He has been a great help to me. I have been to many masseurs over the years and he is one of the best. His massage space is tranquil and peaceful. Rich has a wonderful personality and that truly makes his massage special.
Rich is the real deal - a compassionate, intelligent, smart, massage therapist. In the best sense. Beginning with his friendly welcome, Rich communicates with his clients. He asks about your health, and your well-being, and any trouble spots on your body. Which is what a professional massage therapist should always do - but Rich establishes communication in a gentle, personal way. The massage is excellent, with warming towels, and healing touch, and Rich is completely involved with creating an excellent healing experience. The best thing about Rich, in my opinion, is his knowledge and technical expertise, about anatomy, and how to heal all those aches, pains, and stress points. And to offer suggestions about how you might continue, or if necessary, accelerate, your healing. His happy spirit is maybe equivalent to his intention to heal. I believe he is a truly fine person, and therefore, extremely suited for his chosen profession. A good, smart, kind, helpful, guy with your best interests in mind.
